VELVET IN THE SUMMER!

We are just days away from the Los Angeles premiere of ULTRASUEDE: IN SEARCH OF Halston at LACMA and do you have a dress to wear? How about an authentic vintage original Halston from the late 1970s in the softest of velvets in a style reminiscent of Vionnet? Call us crazy, but what's wrong with wearing velvet in May when it feels this light and the cut is so bare? The waist is gathered with an elasticized band that lets you determine how much blouson effect you desire. The sides are very revealing and the back requires a yoga-toned physique. Throw on some bronze-hued strappy heels, a slew of cuffs, and large hoops for a very timeless American chic look of the 70s. By the way, the dress is DEADSTOCK and unworn with it's original price tag attached. It's increased in value, so fashion is a good investment.

Halston for I. Magnin black velvet gathered waist open halter, c. late 1970s. DEADSTOCK/unworn. Modern 4 to 6 SOLD
